The Eric Andre Show is a forum for sheer madness. Anything can happen in the brief 15-minute show, and usually “anything” means “the worst thing.” For example: Andre put a ton of rappers through a course with mouse traps, snakes and swinging wrecking balls, he forced Mac Demarco through a torturous Japanese game show, oh and he made American Authors perform their sweet pop hit “Best Day Of My Life” while in a Human Centipede. Yes, this happened. Eric’s interview methods were far too much for T.I, so let’s just say the conventional goes left to unconventional right quick on the talk show.
With that in mind, if something like electronic master Flying Lotus checking his emails while on the show sounds super boring to you, then you probably aren’t familiar with the show. In the brief clip from Friday’s episode with Howie Mandel and Malaysia Pargo, FlyLo takes the stage to comb through what most of us do while bored at work or at school by trying to get to Inbox Zero. But the rest of us didn’t make You’re Dead!, so clearly when he checks his email, it’s a little different. Now thankfully, he isn’t subjected to anything that will turn your stomach, but still, dude brings it while clearing that cache. Those newsletters aren’t going to delete themselves.
