Justice Prep For Their First Album In Five Years With ‘Randy’

When Justice came onto the scene in 2007, the French electronic duo wasted in no time in making a massive impact. Tracks like “D.A.N.C.E.” and “Genesis” became wildly popular singles, while the Cross album received rave reviews from critics and quickly earned a reputation as one of the best dance albums of the decade. Since then, however, the band has been rather hard to pin down. Their second album, Audio, Video, Disco, came out nearly five years ago, and while it certainly had fans and great songs, it didn’t quite capture people’s imaginations the way the first album did. Still, the band had enough goodwill stored up that any news of new music could still elicit a fair amount of excitement. Sure enough, when Justice released the single “Safe And Sound” back in July, fans were captivated, wondering if the long-awaited third album would finally be on its way.

Today, those fans lives just got a lot better. Not only do we know for a fact that there will a third album, entitled Woman, coming on November 18, we also have the second track of the album, the propulsive “Randy.” Clocking in at over six minutes, this track is energetic, incredibly catchy, and has every possible making of the next dance floor banger from a band that’s been making them for nearly a decade. While we’ve only heard two tracks from Woman, it’s not hard to feel excited that they’ll be able to reclaim the groove that made their debut so enthralling.
