While the entire rap-loving world was melting down on Thursday night after Kendrick Lamar unveiled his latest album DAMN., Lil Yachty decided to drop two, brand new singles into the mix. There’s a pure, solo track titled “Harley,” and a second collaboration with the Migos named “Peek A Boo.” The first song is more in line with Lil Boat’s sing-song-y style while the latter track is far more foreboding, finding Yachty warning that, “I’m not finna’ play with you, that’s what these rappers do.”

Shortly after dropping the tracks he shared a few pics on Instagram, including this one of him holding up a middle finger alongside the Migos, with a caption that read, “familyties.”

While you might think Lil Boat would’ve been disappointed at having to share his music release date with K. Dot, it turns out he was just as excited as everyone else to get his hands on the new album. Just minutes after DAMN. hit the Internet, Yachty posted up a short video of himself listening to the album for the first time. It was pretty much a perfect mirror of how everyone else was feeling at the moment: excited, joyful and curious about what was going to happen next.
