Tapping into a market already covered by Iron Maiden (Trooper Ale), Kid Rock (Badass American Lager), and George Thorogood (I assume), Metallica has teamed up with Budweiser for a limited edition beer. How limited? It will only be available in Quebec this month to honor the iconic metal band closing out one venue, Colisée Pepsi, and opening another, Le Centre Vidéotron.

Le Journal de Quebec (with assistance from Google Translate) reports that “a tanker truck filled with Budweiser” will be in front of the new amphitheater on Wednesday evening, and “more than 91,000 black cans in the colors of Metallica and Budweiser” will hit the market on September 28. So expect all of Quebec to look like the Charles River on St. Patrick’s that day, except black.

The can looks pretty badass:

But it doesn’t have a name. We have some ideas:

-Sweet AmberBock
-Kill ‘Em Alcohol
-And Bud Light Lime-a-Rita For All

An unnamed Uproxx editor suggested “for whoooommmmm the bell rolls Clydesdales march onnnnn,” because he or she is the Weird Al of Metallica beer songs. There are no release plans for the United States, which is as good a reason as any to invade Canada.

We want our For Whom the Beer Tolls, and we want it now.
