Young Thug And Rich Homie Quan Are Making Music Together Again And It Sounds Amazing

Last week Young Thug promised his fans a new “singing” album executive produced by Drake called Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls. Apparently he got a little overzealous because whatever definition of “this week” he was going with when he announced the album was exhausted when Wednesday came and passed without an album.

That’s not to say Thug didn’t give his fans something to get excited about though, as he took to his Instagram just before midnight PST to reveal to fans that he and his old pal Rich Homie Quan have been busy making new music together. Yes, the duo formerly known as Rich Gang is back at it after a seemingly acrimonious split that they’ve remained mum on for two and a half years. It’s all over now though as Thug posted a snippet on his Instagram of a new song with Quan crooning some vocals before Thugger launches into an especially melodic verse.

It’s the first record with the duo since the infamous Rich Gang sessions that spawned Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1 back in 2014, followed by a massive leak of over 100 songs including the that were purported to combine to make up Tha Tour Pt. 2.

From there a few scant songs would leak periodically, and though Thug tossed an old Rich Gang song on Slime Season 2, and Quan even went so far as to say Rich Gang 2 was on the way. It wasn’t meant to be though as they quickly went back to dissing each other and the reunion never happened.

This all comes with the caveat that we have no clue when we’ll hear the rest of this song, if we ever do at all, but it’s still exciting to hear the dynamic duo are back working together and creating more melodic joy for our ears.
