Tyga Claims He Had Nothing To Do With Paul McCartney And Beck Being Turned Away From Grammys Party

Nothing unites people quite like hatred. And for a few brief hours, Sir Paul McCartney fans and people who just really dislike Tyga — a Venn diagram that includes almost everyone — had found a mutual target for their anger after the Beatle was turned away from the “Rack City” rapper’s Grammy after-party.

Unfortunately, the dream is over. Tyga announced on Twitter that he had nothing to with Macca, Beck and Taylor Hawkins getting turned away for not being big enough VIPs.

According to Tyga, the party wasn’t even his. He was merely performing and left as soon as he was done.

Tyga doesn’t need help attracting scandals. In the last year, he’s been lambasted for dating an underage girl, started a beef with Twitter’s rap god-king, Drake, and found to be relentlessly sending messages to a 14-year-old’s inbox. On that last one, he also had an explanation.

TMZ contacted Tyga’s representatives, who said the conversation between Tyga and the young girl was entirely related to Tyga’s record label.

“Tyga’s manager Anthony Martini tells TMZ the rapper reached out to 14-year-old Molly O’Malia after his team found out she had a pretty strong musical following online and thought she might be a candidate for a Last Kings Records project … his record label. Tyga claims it was strictly business and completely PG.”

What we’re saying is, people looking for a reason to hate Tyga don’t need the Paul McCartney scandal. He’ll slip up again eventually.
