Nicki Minaj’s Odd Stripper Name Also Reveals Her Aversion To Wearing Underwear

“Nicki Minaj” is already a pretty great stripper name, but the rapper is using it for her music and acting careers. Other nicknames — Nicki The Ninja, Roman, Nicki Lewinsky, The Harajuku Barbie — definitely aren’t cutting it either. So what’s Nicki to do when she wants a moniker for her inner exotic dancer? Do like Childish Gambino and use a name generator.

The self-proclaimed Queen of Rap had a little fun with her barbz on Twitter Tuesday night by coming up with a totally not sexy stripper name for herself. Using rules from a tweet that read, “Your stripper name is the color of your underwear and the last thing you ate,” Nicki came up with “None Salmon.” “None” as in Nicki Minaj likes to go commando despite taking internet-breaking underwear selfies.

The rapper later tweeted that perhaps the rules should’ve been “favorite color + last thing you ate,” which definitely would’ve helped. Either way, Pink Salmon or None Salmon, nobody’s really turning down a lap dance from the talented entertainer.

Fun fact: Nicki Minaj’s original stripper name was “Lap Dance Nika.” Minaj first introduced Lap Dance Nika at Lil Wayne’s ‘I Am Still Music’ tour in 2011 and gave out lap dances to fans, including Lil Wayne, Chris Paul and former NBA star Steve Nash.
