Young Thug And Future Officially Squash Their Beef Via Instagram

There’s nothing as heartwarming than the end of a celebrity feud, especially a petty, meaningless one between rappers. And even if dissension among our most beloved artists in this day in age seems to be much more ubiquitous than reparations, Future and Young Thug just proved it’s never too late to help bring peace.

On Sunday night, Young Thug took to Instagram to publicly i.e. officially squash his beef with Future. In a post to his 3.2 million followers, in conjunction with a photo of the two Atlanta rappers flipping the camera the bird, Thugger wrote, “My brada… I’m sorry for the internet argumentS!!”

For those still navigating the complexities between the TSwift/Kimye drama, and are not caught up on this particular feud, the bad blood, so to speak, began between Future and Young Thug in 2015.

The hostility was initially spurred by a slew of tweets sent out by producer, Metro Boomin denouncing artists attempting to contend with Future. Young Thug assumed these were directed at him and fired back with an outpouring of his own tweets.

The social media sparring died down for a bit, but then had a resurgence earlier this year when Young Thug told Future to “slow down dropping all that BS music.”

Since this most recent “internet argument” the beef has evidently been put to rest for a while as the two collaborated on the track “Who” off Future and DJ Esco’s Project E.T. However, there’s no apology more sincere and more conclusive than one publicly declared to your millions of fans. Thus, what began on social media, ended on social media, and lucky for us, this cease fire means we can expect less hostile subtweeting and more amazing collabs.
