Pacman Jones Went On A NSFW Rant On Instagram About The Pittsburgh Steelers

If you’re a fan of the NFL, you’re aware of the rivalry in the AFC North. You’re aware that all the teams hate each other. This season, in particular, the rivalry between the Bengals and Steelers is much worse than previous years, mostly because of an incident involving Le’Veon Bell and Vontaze Burfict.

If you recall, Bell was injured in a game earlier this year after an awkward-looking tackle from Burfict. Bell was lost for the season as a result.

Video for those who haven’t seen it (mildly gruesome).

Now, for some reason, Steeler nation came to the conclusion that Burfict had injured Bell on purpose. Which, OK, that doesn’t make sense. But this is NFL fandom and hardly anything ever makes sense. There was some fighting about it on Twitter and there was a beef and the beef was never squashed. That led to a mini brouhaha ahead of Sunday’s much anticipated showdown between the two teams.

This may (or may not) have been instigated by an Instagram video from Bengals CB Pacman Jones — a video where he tells the Steelers to “shut the f*ck up.”

Naturally, Pacman got trolled on Twitter by Steeler nation following the Bengals’ 33-20 loss. But he didn’t back down.

What does all this mean? A whole lot of nothing. That is unless the two teams somehow meet up in the playoffs. Oh God, let’s hope they meet in the playoffs, if only for all the trash talk leading up to the game.

Steelers offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert has already started.
