Julio Franco Is Now A Player-Manager In Japan At The Ripe Old Age Of 56

That is Julio Franco moments before he became the oldest player in MLB history to hit a grand slam, almost 10 years ago at the age of 47. Franco stuck around MLB long enough to become the oldest non-pitcher to appear in a game and the oldest player to hit a home run, both at 48.
