Brandin Cooks is one of the fastest receivers in the NFL. He’s so fast that when he gets behind just about any defensive back, it’s game over.
Cooks did that on Sunday during New Orleans’ game against Oakland. He got behind a defender, Drew Brees threw the ball his way, Cooks brought it in, and he was off to the races. The thing that made this so impressive was that the Saints had the ball on their 2-yard line, so Cooks’ touchdown went for 98 yards. This was especially impressive because the defensive backs who tried to catch Cooks were going as fast as possible, but he still broke away from them like it was nothing.
