An Attentive Fan Shows How Richard Jefferson Robbed LeBron James Of A Triple-Double

On Friday night, LeBron James finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists in a dominating, 108-83, Cavs win over the visiting Washington Wizards. Cleveland was without Kevin Love, who was resting, and they seemed looser than they’ve been in a while. Tyronn Lue is 13-6 since taking over for fired coach David Blatt (they were 30-11 at that time). But one fan, presumably of the Cavs persuasion, didn’t really care about all that backstory. He was primarily concerned with the triple-double LeBron James get gipped out of during Friday’s win.

As the above video illustrates, James should have had three more assists; except, one dime to Kyrie Irving for a three-pointer was rewarded to J.R. Smith. And two more would-be dimes were bungled by Richard Jefferson.

The Cavs have the top record in the Eastern Conference, but the Raptors, Heat and Celtics are looking to unseat them in the East. Not only that, but as presently constructed it doesn’t appear Cleveland has enough firepower or defense to beat San Antonio or Golden State, if they were to face either team in the Finals. It’s a long road for Cleveland’s first NBA championship; LeBron’s possible triple-double is pretty far down the list his priorities, so it’s a good thing this fan was paying attention.
