LSU is hosting Western Kentucky in Baton Rouge for their contest on Saturday night and, unfortunately for both teams and the everyone in attendance, the remnants of Hurricane Patricia decided to crash the party in Death Valley. Heavy rains flooded Tiger Stadium and turned the entire field into a giant, wet mess.
The heaviest it's been, I don't see them playing in this type of weather. If it holds to this degree. #LSU pic.twitter.com/gVyF7YeFrC

While such inclement weather could have potentially ruined the party, you have to give credit to the folks in Louisiana for not allowing that to happen. Not only did they stick out the storm long enough to play some football, but they also had some fun while doing so. LSU’s cheerleaders turned the flooded field into an opportunity to stomp and dance around like kids playing in a giant puddle.

And, of course, with any great storm comes great slip ‘n’ slides.

While it’s not exactly the best conditions for a great football game, at least it’s a pretty great start for a wet and wild party.
