Twitter Was Rightfully Heartbroken Over The Cancellation Of The NFL Hall Of Fame Game

The NFL’s annual Hall of Fame was cancelled for the best of reasons — safety concerns. No one wants to see anyone hurt on the gridiron, especially not in a “meaningless” game such as the Hall of Fame game. But that doesn’t mean millions of fans weren’t ready to watch the Packers and the Colts finally shake off the rust and play some football, even with the Olympics on. The love of football is a passionate one, and this first kickoff is special. We all know that. We do.

So now fans are left heartbroken and wondering what a multi-billion dollar industry like the NFL is doing. How could they get this far, let the fans in and ultimately cancel the game mere minutes before kickoff? Naturally, some fans lashed out at the NFL’s commissioner, Roger Goodell. Some fans even wondered if there was a conspiracy behind what happened in Canton.

Other, astute fans, believe that all signs point to Brady and Belichick as the monsters who ruined their Sunday evening. Could the conspiracy theories be true, or is this just a fail worthy of a thousand Crying Jordans?
