Fan girls on Tumblr can relax: FX announced today that Evan Peters will in fact join the cast of American Horror Story: Hotel. This isn’t really news, though. Peters has had a major role in every season of American Horror Story up until this point, so it would be news if he wasn’t returning, a la Jessica Lange. In addition to the official FX press release, Ryan Murphy also dropped this clue on Twitter today:

Room 64? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN? American Horror Story: Hotel will presumably premier in October, so fans will have plenty of time to think about it.
Peters joins the cast which also predictably picked back up Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates, as well as Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, Matthew Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, and of course, Lady Gaga. Let the stupid fun begin!
