Celine Dion Reportedly ‘Peed’ When She Saw Ariana Grande’s ‘SNL’ Impression

While hosting Saturday Night Live last Saturday, Ariana Grande saved Tidal with her Britney Spears, Rihanna, Celine Dion, and other uncanny musical impressions. When imitating Dion singing “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now,” Grande nailed her voice and accent. Now, apparently Dion herself saw the SNL Tidal sketch, and approves.

According to People, Grande was on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, recounting what Dion said to her. “When I met Céline, she told me, she was like, ‘When I saw you, I peed!'” Grande insists, putting on that famous Dion accent again.

The pop star also says that she doesn’t study other singers or do impressions out of malicious intent: “No I’m just a big fan! I’m a really big fan. I think that’s why they don’t get mad because they know that I come from a place of love and I’m just like, ‘You’re f*cking amazing!’ ”

Grande also wore a lot of latex on her album cover, and has this story about it:

“To get into my ‘Dangerous Woman’ outfit they were like, ‘Okay time to lube you up!’ and I was like, ‘Excuse me?’ and they were like, ‘Yeah! We gotta lube you up to get you in!’ ” says Grande. “I was like, ‘Wait are you serious?’ And there wasn’t any latex prep bottle – it was literally full-on lube! It said on the bottle, full-out lube. So they lubed me up and put me in! It was the funniest thing in the whole world.”

The things you have to do as a pop star.
