Steve Harvey’s Miss Universe Flub Gets The ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Treatment

Steve Harvey made plenty of waves on Sunday night after he messed up reading the winner of the Miss Universe pageant on live television, instantly turning the event into headline news. For me, the moment was cringeworthy at first and slowly morphed into hilarious. But this edit by Jake Rasmussen that was shared on Reddit really captures the flub perfectly and makes me wish we had a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Instead of going through the entire explanation from Harvey, the clip just focuses on the extreme dread on his face as he realizes he made a mistake and now has to make up for it by tearing the crown off Miss Colombia’s head. Stopping there really knocks home the Curb feel of it all because you could easily see Larry David in that situation.

If that’s not your cup of tea, how about an instant classic from the genius behind Seinfeld Current Day. Poor Miss Colombia, losing her crown and then losing her date in the process.
