What’s On Tonight: ‘The Blacklist’ And That New Jennifer Lopez Cop Show

The Blacklist (NBC, 9:00 p.m.) — It looks like Liz is bound for the gallows, but that doesn’t stop Red and Aram from making moves to improve her situation in the winter premiere of season three of The Blacklist.

Shades of Blue (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) — If you’ve been to the movies in the past couple of months, you probably caught the tail end of one of those preview segments in which J-Lo and Ray Liotta give you the low-down on this new NBC drama about police corruption.

The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret (IFC, 10:00 p.m.) — Jack McBrayer, Amber Tamblyn and Will Arnett join David Cross in the back-to-back-to-back episodes of the IFC comedy series that last aired in 2012.

American Idol (FOX, 8:00 p.m.) — A second-straight night of the best/awesomely worst auditions to open up season 15.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) — Wolowitz and Bernadette wanna experience that “bang in every room” sensation when Stuart finally moves out of their place. Penny gets more than she bargained for when Leonard speaks with a psychiatrist on her behalf.

Heroes Reborn (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) — Noah’s nowhere to be found, so it’s up to Luke, Malina and Tommy to protect the fate of humanity. Also, Sunstone Manor definitely sounds like a rehabilitation facility where characters from Californication go to dry out and find their inner zen, but it’s really where Carlos, Farrah and The Haitian take it to Matt Parkman.

Mom (CBS, 9:00 p.m.) — Violet tries to fight nice with her future monster in-law at Christy’s family dinner, while Bonnie ain’t feeling the whole “taking the next step” part of her relationship with Steve.

Angel From Hell (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) — Jane Lynch is either drunk and delusional or somebody’s guardian angel in this new CBS sitcom starring Maggie Lawson.

Elementary (CBS, 10:00 p.m.) — Turns out that Watson’s got some daddy issues because her father is playing Tom Clancy and using her exploits with Holmes as “inspiration.”
