Bar Refaeli can’t stop being banned for her steamy commercials. Ever since she noisily locked lips in a squeamish GoDaddy ad, Refaeli’s been on a tear. For the second time in as many years, Israeli television censors have deemed one of her ads too hot for eyeballs. In the above ad, the former Victoria’s Secret catalog star — who has gone on to great success and entrepreneurship elsewhere — models for Hoodies bikinis. She frolics on the beach and toys with a straw, but the camera lingers on her thong bottom, and there are moments when the audience realizes that she takes off the bikini. She’s obscured by a car door, but look, this just can’t happen. Banned.
Naturally, Hoodies knew what they were doing. Perhaps they didn’t set out to be banned like PETA probably does, but the company will receive plenty of attention by way of censorship. Folks will want to see the forbidden fruit, and everyone gets what they want. Besides, this isn’t the first rodeo between this company and Refaeli. The last time the supermodel was banned on television, she starred in a different Hoodies ad that featured her in bed with a muppet. She and the puppet have post-coital talk, and then several other Bar Refaelis suddenly appear and get in on the action. Then comes a car wash segment that Michael Bay would just love and a blurred muppet crotch. If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of viewing this gratuitous display, here’s your chance.
