After the news that Vin Diesel will likely voice Groot in Guardians Of The Galaxy, that left only one lead character not yet cast: Rocket Raccoon. Although the film is already shooting in London, the Comic-Con footage we had to take down made it clear the Rocket Raccoon character isn’t mo-capped, meaning they can take their time and hire the voice actor during post-production.
We heard a rumor the studio was look for an A-list star to voice Rocket Raccoon, and we commented that putting two of the most famous members of your cast behind the camera to voice a monosyllabic tree and an angry, talking raccoon is exactly the type of insanity we’d expect from director James Gunn.
That rumor may prove true, as Latino Review claims Marvel has offered the job to Bradley Cooper. Oops, sorry. We meant Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper. We’d like to celebrate the news with this GIF, but Marvel says we can’t use it (boooo you whore), so here’s the next best thing.
