There are a lot of great ways to honor championship teams in sports… parades, parties, memorabilia, jewelry, television appearances, etc. Not every team to raise a trophy gets a custom, hand-drawn flip book as a tribute, though, so the 2015 Chicago Blackhawks should feel quite lucky.
YouTube user TheFlippist has an incredible knack for creating amazing flip books and turning them into videos for everyone’s viewing pleasure, and the Blackhawks’ latest Stanley Cup championship is his newest creation. In it, you’ll see pivotal SCF goals from Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith, as well as a great save from Corey Crawford and a portion of Chicago’s Cup-raising celebration.
For more of his work — including plenty of sports tributes — you can check out TheFlippist’s YouTube channel and website. And if you’re a major sports outlet with some expendable income, do us all a favor and hire this guy to create full highlight packages.
