Chrissy Teigen Wants The ‘Morons’ To Know She Doesn’t Survive On Doritos Dust

Chrissy Teigen may be a failed weather girl, but she sure knows food. Specifically, she knows fast food, junk food and anything-to-do-with-meat food. She recently spoke with Delish magazine about her love of food. This should seem like a redundant conversation by now, but Chrissy is very passionate about her eats. She detailed her farmer’s breakfasts (over-easy eggs, sausages, grilled veggies) and body’s terrible reaction to carbs. All except for Doritos. Here’s how that part of the conversation started:

“I eat fast food a few times a week. Sometimes I go a little crazy, especially when things get nuts and I’m in L.A. I’m used to living in New York and I myself would never ever venture into a Taco Bell or McDonald’s. But there’s something about L.A., with the drive-thru—it’s too easy. I get haters who ask why I would eat that kind of meat? There’s a balance with anything. When I cook, everything is organic and very clean; I’m meticulous and kind of insane about it. But sometimes you just want a Doritos Locos Taco.”

Yet when she eats Doritos by themselves, she has a weird habit:

“I lick off the nacho cheese seasoning and put the chips back in the bag. You still get all the flavor, not all the carbs!”

Hey, whatever works. Girlfriend does have to maintain her SI: Swim figure, but Chrissy caught wind of some “eating disorder” rumors as a result. She snapped back on Twitter:

Chrissy’s never one to hold back her true feelings on Twitter. Every time she tries to quit the place, they pull her back in. Social media may be “the death” of her, but she also gains life from engaging with other users. Whereas I gain life from looking at her photos on Instagram. Let’s do that right now.
