Meet John Mogan and Ashley Duboe. The couple, 28 and 24, respectively, were arrested in conjunction with an Aug. 24 bank robbery in Ashville, Ohio, where investigators claim that Mogan handed a teller a note and made off with a stack of cash. Mogan, who had been out on parole for less than two months after a five-year stint in state prison for another bank robbery, had taken great care to conceal his identity by wearing a hoodie along with makeup to cover his face and neck tattoos.
But because Bonnie and Clyde these two most certainly ain’t, the couple’s undoing came about when they posed with the cash on Facebook, and, as a result, they were finally arrested last week and charged with the crime.
A “selfie” posted Aug. 31 shows Mogan with a wad of bills in his mouth. The image prompted a relative to complain that the flush Mogan “didn’t hook a brother up.” Referring to the loot, Mogan replied, “That’s called a McStack.” He then noted that, “I got six bands bra real sh*t n*gga,” before adding, “I’m doing rrree=aaaaalll) good.”
In what can only be described as irony of the most delicious caliber, Mogan has the phrases “Loyalty’s Thin” and “Betrayal’s Thick” tattooed on opposite cheeks. Maybe during his upcoming prison stint, he’ll be able to make room for another one that says “… But Nothing You Post On Facebook Is Private” on his chin.
