It’s January 2nd, the first workday of the New Year, and it’s important, at the beginning of any period of renewal, to focus. To really center yourself and reflect on the important, to gain some perspective to move forward with the flow of time.
Which is why we have a bunch of serene poetry written from the perspective of, or about, a gigantic radioactive lizard.
All of these come courtesy of the sadly departed Godzilla Haiku, and the funny thing is that these haiku are actually pretty good, some of them. Reflective, even, of the enigmatic nature of the Big G. He’s a melancholy guy underneath those keloid scars, you know.
