Breaking news has completely changed the Drake-Madonna kiss from a vile tragedy of human evolution to just an honest misunderstanding.
The suave rapper — possibly aware of the pictures of him wiping his mouth post-kiss making rounds on the internet — has a statement explaining everything.
Sayeth TMZ:
Drake says he was not banking on a transfer of the glossy stuff and that’s why he blanched.
When you look closely at the video, it looks like whatever lipstick there is it’s pretty colorless … either nude or beige.
This time, it was the notoriously nasty-tasting lipstick Madonna left on him that threw the crooner for a whirl. Whew! For a second there, it looked like he was completely and utterly repulsed by Madonna’s attempt. Turns out, he wouldn’t have minded if she had just picked a milder, cherry-flavored balm or something.
That’s good enough reason for her to research flavors before her next nosedive into his throat hopefully. Prayer-hands for Drake y’all.
