Juggalos are the most misunderstood creatures on Earth. Jonathan Schrap, 24, was arrested and charged with “mayhem” and “reckless injury” after the Insane Clown Posse fan accidentally chopped off a friend’s pinky, cut her arm, and drank her blood. But before you judge a book by its clown-makeup cover, know that Schrap and the victim, 27-year-old Shelby Neuens, were performing a “ritualistic memorial” for a fellow Juggalo who died the year before. Neuens was also a willing participant in the observance.
According to WBAY, police in Green Bay, Wisconsin “say Schrap was with his childhood friend Nick Laabs; fellow Juggalo Preston Hyde, who is a local ‘horror-core’ rapper going by the name Bloody Ruckus; and 27-year-old Shelby Neuens. Neuens told police that the group was talking about blood-drinking cult rituals the Saturday morning it happened.” Everything checks out so far. Neuens offered to let Schrap drink her blood, which he did using a machete, for the cut, and shot glass, for the body fluid. Still nothing out of the ordinary, at least until after a discussion about severing a finger, when Schrap’s “second strike with the machete took the pinky clean off,” reads the criminal complaint. “All the way to the palm.” Now things got dicey.
“Jon then placed the finger in his freezer where he said he would cook it and eat it later,” the complaint continues. “The group then attempted to stop the bleeding by using a car cigarette lighter which failed. They then used a blowtorch.” (Via)
Neuens didn’t go to the hospital, however, until later that night. After she showed her boyfriend her injuries, the man’s mother heard what happened and took her to the emergency room. She refused to press charges against Schrap, but he was still taken in by the police; his court date is September 21. “Bloody Ruckus,” meanwhile, is still on the loose. Whoop whoop.
