Kim Kardashian puts her name on a lot of crap. Between her dumb iPad game to diet pills, liquor, perfume, hair removal, and sneakers that supposedly toned your butt just by wearing them — there’s not much, if anything, that Kim Kardashian isn’t willing to slap her name on. But having the esteemed name of Kim Kardashian attached to your product does not come cheap!
In emails allegedly leaked between a rep for Kim Kardashian and a brand that was apparently interested in working with her, it was revealed that it costs anywhere from $750,000 to $1 million to have Kim Kardashian endorse your product.
Wrote the rep, “I think you should definitely come back with the best offer that you can make her from a money standpoint, so that we can save the time going back and forth.”
Negotiation shamogotiation, let’s “save the time going back and forth.” That sounds convenient and completely fair for all parties involved. But the fee itself is just the beginning, because her travel and accommodation demands are also predictably outrageous.
For travel related to personal appearances for the brand, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star requires “5 first class tickets, plus 1 coach, first class hotel accommodations (1 suite for talent and standard rooms for others in party), portal to portal first class exclusive ground transportation, airport greeter service, security, glam fee (day rate for her hair and makeup squad), and a per diem.”
The flights and hotels alone would probably cost at least $25,000, plus god knows how much for the per diem and the other stuff. But I love how with all the demands, she still makes just the one person have to sit in coach — which is possibly the most Kim Kardashian thing about this. Sucks for you, least important member of Kim Kardashian’s entourage.
