Usually when we’re talking about people climbing down chimneys, it’s involving Santa Claus and some sort of great surprise around the holidays. Well the holidays are over and this person didn’t come bearing gifts. She didn’t come bearing much of anything because she stripped down naked and tried to get into her estranged boyfriend’s home. From CBS 2:
Homeowner Tony Hernandez said the woman, the mother of his three children, had tried around 5 a.m. to open the door of his home in the 15800 block of Rancho Viejo Drive. When she found it locked she climbed to the roof and attempted to get in through the chimney. That’s when she became wedged inside the 12-by-12-inch chimney. She had apparently removed her clothes to aid her descent.
Hernandez said he awoke to her cries for help and tried to get her out with an extension cord: “She said, ‘I’m trapped in the chimney.’ So I tried to get her out but it was too hard.”
Firefighters spent nearly two hours attempting to get the woman free from the structure. She was then taken to the hospital to deal with her injuries.
Hernandez went on to say that he didn’t want to woman around his kids, something I don’t think many would blame him for:
“I don’t like the way she’s acting or what she’s doing. That’s not good for my kids.”
You got that right, pal. Imagine having to explain how Santa got down that thing when mommy got stuck halfway. It’s gonna be tough.
