It’s hard to overshadow the child pornography allegations that rose from some police reports a few weeks back, but now Michael Jackson’s former doctor is attempting to get in on claiming the late singer was involved with heinous activities.
Conrad Murray, the doctor who was jailed for involuntary manslaughter following the singers death in 2011, serving two years of his four year sentence. Now Murray is writing a book that Jackson apparently wanted him to, containing a revelation that Jackson allegedly wanted to marry a very famous British actress when she was 11 years old. When pressed on more details and if Jackson was a danger, this was his response to the Mirror:
Despite the astonishing nature of the claims Murray refuses to say whether he considered Jackson to be evil or a danger to children.
He says: “You must read the book and make those decisions for yourself.”
Asked if he would leave his own son with him, he replies: “Read the book. It answers all those questions.”
Things seems a little fishy when someone knows such information, but wants you to buy the book before confirming a lot of it. And as for monetary gain, well Murray says he’s not looking for it. He just won’t turn it down if it does show up:
“I have not earned any money since being released from jail. A lot of people have helped me. I have been propped up by my family and friends. They are helping me until I can work and make a living for myself again. I have no income. I get by with their help and love.”
The book is reportedly about setting the record straight on Jackson’s life, but having it serialized in the Mirror and teased to high heaven seems like it might not be the most honorable of reasons. If he truly cared for the image of Jackson, one might expect him to just tell the story free of charge.
Who knows. The only true fact is that Jackson isn’t around to defend or deny any allegations.
