If you’re wondering how the great Miss Universe winner-announcement bungling of 2015 happened, former Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous (think MTV Cribs of the ’80s, ’90s kids) host Robin Leach — who has an impressive 44,000 followers on Twitter — tweeted the above image. On one hand, I want to say “lol Steve Harvey.” On the other hand, why would they put the winner all the way down at the bottom, underneath “2nd runner up” and “1st runner up?” Everyone knows what “1st” means, and that’s just confusing, even for a guy who reads questions like “Name a specific word that would describe both Steve Harvey and a cup of coffee” on Family Feud.
I never thought I’d say this, but these sort of shenanigans wouldn’t have happened on Trump’s watch. Sure, the Republican presidential candidate cut Steve Harvey some slack when asked to comment, but I think this proves more than ever that Donald Trump’s place is with Miss Universe, not the White House.
