Last year Mark Millar started writing the sequel to the eight-issue Old Man Logan series he wrote with Steve McNiven. That series was set more than 50 years in the future, starring an elderly Wolverine, and it was seriously insane. How insane? [Spoilers in the rest of this paragraph.] Mysterio tricked Wolverine into killing all the X-Men, so Wolverine spends years refusing to use his claws. As an old man, he returns to his violent ways when his entire family is murdered by Hulk’s grandchildren. He goes on a killing spree through the Banner family tree and is “defeated and consumed” by Hulk. Wolverine heals himself in Hulk’s stomach then bursts out, killing him. At the end of the series, Wolverine has adopted the only living member of the Banner family, the infant Bruce Banner Junior. Don’t be surprised if Fox tries to turn it into a PG-rated film, because Fox is insane.
Now we have a fake movie trailer to go with a non-existent (so far) Old Man Logan movie. WhiplashDynamo pieced together this fan trailer out of several film clips, using spot-on music (Johnny Cash’s “Hurt”) and awesomely casting Clint Eastwood as the older Hugh Jackman. Get the hell off Wolverine’s yard!
