If you’re perusing the Internet today, you’ve no doubt heard that Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton welcomed a new baby girl to the world. If you’ve missed the word, good on you and your efforts to bring down the government from your cabin in the woods. Everybody else is jealous of you missing the new round of coverage. The official announcement came via the classically dressed gentleman above with the AP filling in some of the details in the description:
Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, has given birth to a baby girl, royal officials said Saturday. The baby weighs 8 pounds 3 ounces. The palace added that Kate and her child are both doing well, and that William was present for the birth.
Now you might’ve missed out, which I can understand. The same can’t be said for most of the Internet because there are a ton of reactions like this to the announcement:

Others decided to have a little bit of fun with it all, joking about the baby’s name and how the lines of succession. Good times for all:
8lbs 3oz. They always announce the weight. What about useful stats like Magic, Dexterity or Armour? #RoyalBaby

But I think my favorite line of Tweets belongs to the fake Queen of England, basically saying what the bulk of us are thinking about the entire situation:

Here’s hoping the best for the new born and a little bit of peace for the new parents. I’m sure they won’t have trouble. We’ll keep adding funny or interesting reactions throughout the day.
