Square Enix has been hyping up a big reveal the last few days on Twitch. To be honest, though, they more or less gave away the reveal the minute you saw the stream, thought about their franchises, and realized we hadn’t heard about a new Deus Ex game in a while. Sure enough, guess what just leaked early.
According to Kotaku, the title is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and among the concept art and promotional shots leaked, we can see that the original game’s protagonist, Adam Jensen, is back. Honestly, so far it looks like an expansion pack of the last game… which is no bad thing.

For those unfamiliar, Deus Ex: Human Revolution took place in the near future, where cybernetics are commonplace and there’s an enormous political argument over whether humanity will be left behind if they don’t upgrade. It was an excellent game, aside from the voice acting, and it sold by the crate, so a sequel was more or less a certainty.
Unless those are bullshots, we should be seeing this game fairly soon. One assumes the press hype is building up to a 2015 or early 2016 release date, but of course it can be delayed. Still, keep an ear out; this is a promising new game on the horizon.
