Qapla’! We already knew there would be fourteen Klingons in Star Trek Into Darkness and two of them would have speaking roles. We’ve also heard Klingon homeworld, Quo’nos, would have an appearance. Now Paramount has released a clip we’re guessing may involve those Klingons.
In the clip Kirk and Spock are being pursued by what appears to be a variation of the Klingon Bird of Prey. Kirk then takes their ship through a space Spock thinks is too narrow. It reminded us of the Millennium Falcon in this scene from Return of the Jedi.
It’s almost like J.J. Abrams is trying to convince us he’s the right director for Star Wars: Episode VII.
Available in HD at Moviefone. Star Trek Into Darkness opens May 17th.
We also have seven new character posters of Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto), Uhura (Zoe Saldana), Carol Marcus (Alice Eve), Bones (Karl Urban), Sulu (John Cho), and “John Harrison” (Benedict Cumberbatch).
