We don’t spotlight Division III hoops too often, except when teams do something completely awesome. Well, Taylor University has a tradition called “Silent Night” that meets the qualifications.
Since 1997, the Taylor student body gathers for the Friday night game before exams begin. They come dressed in PJs and pack Odle Arena to standing room only capacity. Gathered as such, they sit absolutely quiet until the tenth point is scored.
Then, the Taylor gang goes absolutely bonkers.
