By now, I’m sure you’ve seen the temper tantrum heard ’round the world, but in case you haven’t, a refresher: wife wants to go to said lake, husband records wife breaking down when she learns they’re not going to the lake. Neither one of them looked particularly dignified in the video (she was sobbing; he eggs her on), but we weren’t sure of the context behind the video. It’s pretty much you’d expect: Whitney claims Jim bullies her and teases the lake as an incentive that’s never going to come, while Jim says Whitney’s like this all the time, and he wanted to capture his now-ex-wife’s true essence. They’re both kind of right, they’re both kind of wrong, and that, kids, is how I met my divorced wife.
