After planning, hoping, and fretting, the day of your marriage proposal finally arrives. You ask your partner, your partner excitedly says yes (you hope), one or both of you cry, and some sexy times ensue. Everything goes according to plan (unless you’re this poor guy), and then the bewildering reality of what’s to come hits you. I have a wedding to help plan.
It’s a scary thought, but Mike Oellrich wasn’t phased. Instead of caving to the pressure, he invited his buddies to be his groomsmen with a parody of Enrique Iglesias’s hit song “Hero”:
I decided to ask my best friends to be groomsman in my wedding. I think I came up with a pretty clever way to do it. By using Enrique Iglesias and his hit song Hero!
Though Oellrich’s methods aren’t the run-of-the-mill phone call or bar stool chat, they’re effective nonetheless. Hell, I don’t even know the guy, but I’d be his groomsman (baby), too.
Some of the better lyrics include the usual bachelor party bits, like drinking:
Would you drink, if I asked you to drink?
Gambling:
Would you chug and play some blackjack?
And, of course, strippers:
Would you tremble if we saw some tits?
Would you laugh if she had large nips?
Sounds like Oellrich and the gang will have a hell of a time during the bachelor party. Seriously though, need another groomsman?
