Like all good people I love Calvin and Hobbes, but I’ve always kind of resented the way the strip depicts winter as a wonderland rich with endless creative possibilities. Trust the guy from Winnipeg, winter isn’t really all that magical, but dammit, Calvin and Hobbes made me wish it was.
Well, while some of Calvin’s massive snow sculptures will probably still be out of your grasps, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend any of his sled runs, making swarms of miniature snowmen to torture and destroy is now a much easier task. If you have access to a 3D printer, you can now make yourself this plastic mold, which makes the process of building miniature snowmen much easier.
This almost, almost, makes me want to go outside and play in the snow. Grab the plans for this mini snowman mold right here.
