If only all band geeks were as smooth as the kid in the video below, maybe they wouldn’t be called “band geeks.” During a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” in his elementary school gymnasium, an unnamed student, who I’m going to call Rock Buffman, accidentally dropped his cymbal, which everyone knows is the COOLEST of instruments. But rather than embarrassing himself by running away, crying, he recovers like a champ and, well, I don’t want to ruin the clip for you, but let’s just say: Rock Buffman, American hero.
