Aussie psychedelic rockers Wolfmother return with their first album in three years in October, but for fans who can’t wait until Oct. 13 to hear “Cosmic Egg,” they can check out the band while they open for the Killers.

Much has changed–primarily the band’s line-up–since it became a critical darling with its self-titled album and hit “Woman.” Still led by guitarist and brainchild Andrew Stockdale, the rest of the band has been revamped over the last few years. “Cosmic Egg” was recorded over a two-month period with producer Alan Moulder, best known for his work with the Killers, Smashing Pumpkins and My Bloody Valentine.

The band’s fans in L.A. can check out a trippy debut of the album at the new Laserium CybeTheater on Vine on July 27.

The band opens for the Killers for six dates, listed below:

Aug-31 Columbia, MD Merriweather Post Pavilion

Sept-01 Wantagh, NY Jones Beach

Sept-02 Holmdel, NJ PNC Bank Arts Center

Sept-04 Boston, MA TD Banknorth Garden

Sept-05 Montreal, QC Quai Jacques Cartier

Sept-06 Toronto, ON Molson Amphitheater
