Many bands have an early incarnation that they aren’t always proud of. In the case of Mumford and Sons, they were once a boy band in the late ’90s by the name of Mumtown. Even worse, they were led by the writing talents (but not the singing) of one Jimmy Kimmel. Unfortunately, like most boy bands, in-fighting ultimately led to Mumtown’s demise. However, it all worked out for most of the band members. Poor Kimmel had to give up his dream to try out comedy.
