The Milwaukee Bucks have a position to fill in the front office, as John Hammond vacated the general manager post in favor of a similar slot with the Orlando Magic. While assistant general manager Justin Zanik was seen as the frontrunner to assume control early in the process, the Bucks continue to evaluate external options, and Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports that a very intriguing name has jumped into the mix in the form of Becky Hammon.

Another candidate whom the Bucks have contacted, league sources said: San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon. Hammon has no front-office experience, but has been a behind-the-bench assistant coach under Gregg Popovich for three seasons.
