Enes Kanter just became the biggest villain in Salt Lake City.
After ripping the Utah Jazz in advance of his initial return to EnergySolutions Arena as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the 22 year-old big man heard the expected boos during player introductions. Instead of keeping his head down, though, the Turkish youngster not only acknowledged the jeers, but also asked for more.
But Jazz fans weren’t the only ones who were less than cordial to Kanter – their players were downright rude to the hostile visitor, too.
We would have done the same.
At least Kanter is playing well while embracing the boos. He has 12 points and six rebounds at halftime, spurring Oklahoma City to a 49-47 lead over Utah.
