Kevin Love is thrilled to be an All-Star, and though he didn’t end up on the same team as Klay Thompson, he did get a few teammates he’s pumped about.

Love was given no guarantee that he’d be picked by Cleveland Cavaliers teammate LeBron James during the draft for the All-Star Game, but it turns out that his teammate did take him on Thursday.

Love was excited in general, posting a #TeamLeBron tweet shortly after the announcement on TNT on Thursday night.

He then started calling out individual teammates, including former UCLA teammate and reigning league MVP Russell Westbrook.

This is more than just Love being excited about one specific teammate. Westbrook and Love were close at UCLA, and there are some hilarious stories about the two fighting over the thermostat in their dorm and Westbrook roasting Love’s sense of style. The two haven’t had a chance to be teammates in some time now that they’re in separate conferences, but the new All-Star format gave them a chance this year and LeBron obliged.

It’s been a bit of a rough week for Love, who outside of his All-Star announcement has had to deal with accusations he faked an illness, an accidental dragging from his coach and some nagging trade rumors. It’s honestly just kind of nice to see him having some fun at this point.
