As is customary for TDE, they’ve offered next to nothing in the way of information on their newest signee Lance Skiiiwalker. Instead, he’s slowly but steadily churning out music and videos, giving the fans material rather than tidbits. It’s effective, and the releases are beginning to shape Skiiiwalker’s identity, at least musically and that’s all that matters to the house that Top Dawg and Kendrick built.
The latest from the crooner is “All Stops,” a laid back and simple track produced by O’bonjour that feels more like an interlude than a full song. Directed by Dave Free of The Little Homies, the crew who put together Schoolboy Q’s incredible series of visuals from Blank Face LP, the video is a simple yet effective backdrop for Lance’s harmonizing.
