There has never been a more exuberant character than Buddy the Elf. Will Ferrell’s infectious turn as a man raised as one of Santa’s elves who heads to the Big Apple to find his dad made Elf (which is a part of the Warner Bros. Holiday Gift Guide) into a modern Christmas classic.
It’s easy for some people to get bogged down by obligations and cynicism this time of year, and then there are those who can barely contain their Christmas spirit. If you’re the latter, then Buddy, with his sunny disposition and deeply ingrained love of Christmas, is your spirit animal and these quotes will help you celebrate your affinity for elf culture and the holiday season.

Unsurprisingly, people having to work retail around the holidays do not understand Buddy’s ear-to-ear grin. If you really love Christmas, the chances are that you’re a hugger as well. After a long day of shopping and caroling, sometimes the best gift that you can give is a warm embrace. Usually, for people to get excited, someone has to lead the way. Someone has to be the instigator of excitement, even around Christmas. While the intrinsic spirit of the holidays may be enough to get things going, it’s up to you and your overflowing Christmas cup to take things to the next level.
