Olivia Munn is putting in a ton of hours in preparation for her role as Psylocke in Bryan Singer’s upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. We’ve seen her post a few Instagram videos of her progress, and not only does it look like she’s having a blast, but she’s flat-out awesome doing some wicked kicking at a very high speed. She showed off her fancy footwork at the beginning of the month and she has clearly stepped up her game. (Much as I have stepped up my pun game.) Munn is going to walk away from this movie not just with newfound superhero cred, but she’s also going to be a serious killing machine.
Okay, they’re technically more stunt-related moves, but still. Would you want one of those feet coming towards your face? No, you wouldn’t, but she’d probably kick you so fast that you wouldn’t even realize it was happening. Imagine if Sloan Sabbith had both her mouth and her deadly limbs as weapons. The Newsroom would have never been canceled. Imagine hour-long episodes with this:
Here is a roundup of Olivia Munn being awesome during her training sessions:
Never underestimate the wingspan of legs.
This is the aforementioned “fancy footwork” that could ruin someone’s very fancy face.
Some of us would kinda like to see her boyfriend Aaron Rodgers show off his stuff, but, judging by his appearance in her katana video, it looks like the Green Bay Packers quarterback is best left to providing moral support. Plus, then Munn can protect him from linebackers.
Or this guy can do that. He looks pretty tough, too.
