UPROXX’s Person of the Year for 2014, “Weird Al” Yankovic, is currently preparing for his Mandatory Fun world tour, which will undoubtedly provide some of the greatest live music events of the year. Naturally, Weird Al decided to take advantage of the upcoming Academy Awards and one of the critical hits of 2014, Whiplash, to record a fun parody with College Humor to promote his tour, as he sits down to hone his accordion skills with the overbearing perfectionist music instructor, Fletcher, played by Golden Globe winner J.K. Simmons. The only problem with this video, of course, is now I want to see Whiplash remade with Weird Al as the prodigy. Also, Michael Richards returns as Stanley Spadowski. Make it happen, Hollywood.
