If you listen to the New York Post, Jay Z and Beyoncé’s marriage is less “Let’s Stay Together” and more every single sad Al Green song. We ran through all the Jay and Bey divorce rumors last week, and now we’ve got another one, courtesy of “Inside the crumbling marriage of Jay Z and Beyoncé.”
The source says the elevator fight after the Met Ball was really over Jay’s protégé Rihanna, whom he allegedly planned to meet later that night at his 40/40 club. “Solange was like, ‘Enough is enough — you must be [screwing] Rihanna,’” says the source. “To many people who know them, they know it’s not out of the realm of possibility.” (Via)
The source adds that it’s not a matter of if they split, it’s when, adding “that the only time Jay and Beyoncé are really together is on stage. They’re allegedly traveling with marriage counselors, but Jay…spends much of his time on the phone, tending to business.” Basically, they’re in act two of a rom-com and Jay has to choose between his wife, his lady on the side, and work, and oh yeah, there’s a montage set to a Bright Eyes song that ends with Jay running home to…Katherine Heigl?
