Step 1) Start a band.
Step 2) Get Aubrey Plaza to play the saxophone in your music video.
Step 3) ???
Step 4) Go on a Mexican dream vacation with Aubrey and Anna Kendrick.
It’s up to Philly-based group Cassorla to figure out that elusive third step before number four happens. Good luck.
Can anyone explain to me the seemingly recent over the top enthusiasm for the saxophone? Basing this on relatively recent personal experiences –
Exhibit A) At an M83 show, the biggest/loudest crowd response of the whole show was when the saxophone player walked out mid-song out for the part in Midnight City.
Exhibit B) At a My Morning Jacket show, same thing with the part in Dondante.
Was it the #1 hipster approved instrument of 2013? Do people automatically associate it with Careless Whisper like “ha ha I like this, ironically though”? Is this unique to the concert going public in my region?
I don’t understand the question and will not respond to it.
And the sax part in Dondante is awesome too.
not to mention, at an E-Street show, Big Man (RIP) always rightfully got the biggest response.
Fair enough – I guess I’d need to see if people go nuts for crappy saxophone parts too. Does Lou Bega still tour?
Good saxophone is good saxophone…see how much tail greased up sax guy pulled in Lost Boys.
What the hell kind of fireworks factory was that?
Sadly disappointed that this wasn’t some Parks and Rec Duke Silver crossover.
So very saxy.
